Zone Alarm has had a great track record for many years, and I'd stick with that.

Zone Alarm is easier to learn and use than Comodo. Used both and prefered the Zone Alarm interface. Plus Zone Alarm has been known to pass all 17 leak tests, I don't know about Comodo...

I've used both, and stuck with Comodo. There was some program on my computer that conflicted with Zone Alarm, I never found out which one. Basically they are both good, but in my case Comodo was the better choice.

Comodo can pass firewall leak tests that ZoneAlarm can't. The free version of ZoneAlarm is an easy to use firewall, a not very configurable software targeted at the computer illiterate: noobs and kids.
Comodo is a firewall for real men! Woman too!

I have used ZoneAlarm for over 4 years, along with AVG antivirus, and have had exactly ZERO problems. ZoneAlarm has blocked 2571 attempted intrusions, 129,044 access attempts, quarantined 67 suspected email attachments, and treated 24 spies. AVG has caught every virus encountered. I am on the internet six days a week for over ten hours a day, business and pleasure combined. I can't imagine any other similar software doing a better job for me.

I think Zone Alarm is better. . .possibly because that's the only one I have heard of and use.

I know zonealarm, never heard of comodo. If you're using a router (which has a firewall) somewhat pointless. Haven't had anything go through the router.

Zonealarm because I like the features that come with it like program control which is great if you understand it.
