I just want one drink before bed, so I don't want the coca-cola. I have had orange juice with vodka and tequila...but I'm not sure that oj would work with this liquor. Has anyone tried it?

no sour mash and an orange taste will not mix the reason it goes good with soda is because sweeter drinks compliment the taste as compared to bitter or acidic drinks that contradict it

Jack Daniels and Orange Juice is absolutely delicious. A great substitute for bloody mornings with brunch.

Ginger ale and/or cranberry juice possible mix- not sweet flavors to ruin the whiskey taste.. Otherwise have the others as side sip. Jack Daniels is mostly a straight sipping drink, distinct flavor, better than the Jim Beam 2 year bar base for mixing. George Dickel is another straight sipping drink- try it sometime.

Unless you want a Stevie Ray Vaughn: Jack, Southern Comfort, Triple Sec, Sweet and Sour mix and Orange juice. 1 ounce of everything, with 5 ounces of orange juice. Shake with ice.

OJ works best with vodka, or peach schnaps. Try the Jack Daniels on it's own or with ice.

No i wouldn't if i was you, I am a big jack daniels drinker, and of course my dumb *** tried it, i was puking something awful. But it also depends on your stomach. Some people might be able to handle it. I know i couldn't.

No, no - just sip it, maybe on the rocks after the rocks have melted a bit, or add a splash of seltzer....and don't drink it less then an hour before bed, or you'll just doze it off and then wake up and not be sleepy.

definitely steer clear of the orangutan juice. Jack is best with cola - try caffiene free. If you want to drink whiskey neat or on the rocks, try something smoother like Jameson.
