Consult your aka or ckc to see how to go about getting papers. They have there ways and only their ways. Check it out. Nine chances out of ten they may have some documentation prior to your obtaining your dog. The truth will come out eventually if your friend had papers for the dog or not.

You've been told this several times and it doesn't seem to have sunk in.

NO, YOU CANNOT GET PAPERS

NO, YOU SHOULD NOT BREED THIS DOG

NO, YOU SHOULD NOT BREED ANY DOG

I'm sorry if you think that's harsh but you are coming off like a small child who thinks whining and repeating yourself will get you the answers you want. Life doesn't work that way, and the sooner you learn that the happier you'll be. Enjoy the dog you have and stop trying to play God.

Another reason to not breed - you can't possibly have any idea what this dog's temperament is after a history like that, that she's had. The world does not need more puppies with questionable temperaments.
I hope someone in your life that you respect is telling you the same things. Please don't breed or buy while shelter dogs die!

you do not want to breed this dog until she has finished her championship in the show ring.. papers mean nothing,,, they cost about 12 dollars.... there are many many many puppies in shelters that need homes... you do not need to breed this dog.. if you do,, be prepared to spend lots of money gettting her hips xrayed, her eyes cerfed all her blood work,,, stud fees (from an inferior stud, because no one will breed to a pet dog) puppy contracts to draw up,, health guarantees etc... my god please have her spayed sooon

Just to stop your whining....APR will give her papers--for what ever breed you feel like registering her as. Heck, you can even register your mother-in-law as a schnauzer with APR while you are at it.

if you know the old owners name and the dogs name on the papers you could call the akc they should know if she was regestered

has she been microchipped ? , if so get the number, what breed is she ? get onto the club for that breed and give them the microchip number they might be able to trace it back.

Your grammar is terrible. Why do you use capitals throughout your sentences?
