Im working on the floor plans of an apartment/clubhouse and I was wondering if in the typical apartment floor plans, is it ok if i just show the unit partitions alone and provide typical unit blow-ups? Or do i have to include bathroom walls as well as other wall partitions within the unit for my typical floor plan?

If your units are typical (clones of an original) it's usually acceptable to detail one of each type, and indicate the partitions only in the others. However, providing more detail may avoid some confusion among subcontractors; I would recommend it.

If you are using Autocad or equivalent software, ( I can't imagine doing it otherwise anymore) it would certainly be easy to illustrate them all by designing the master unit plans in detail and making them wblocks, inserted as needed. That also allows global editing by making changes in the master and then replacing the other inserted blocks. You could also vary the detail, making a modified block for the general units- definitive in terms of locating fixtures and so on, but less cluttered than the blow up detailing master unit plans.

I'd start by contacting my county building code department and ask them what they would require from you if you were for real building it...
