Spend more time with me without being a nag or sounding needy? Or should I ask at all? What other ways casn I let him know that I want to increase the time we spend together? We both have children and demanding schedules.

When you are doing fun events or cooking something special for dinner, invite him. Maybe he will return the favor. Family game night would be fun..........family Cranium?

The best way is to just tell him in my opinion. While having dinner or something and having a conversation, when a subject ends say something along the lines of

"you know, i really enjoy the time we spend together. I'm kinda wondering if we could do it a bit more often? Would you like that?"

It puts him on the spot a bit but it's better then trying to hint around it. Also it makes sure you get your answer and know exactly where you stand. Good luck!

You can't because a guy feels that the time he's currently spending with you is adequate. I've never heard a guy say, "Gee, I need to spend more time with my girlfriend". Have you? Just try to get the most out of the time you do spend with each other. That's the BEST way to have your cake and eat him too.... ;)

I'm a guy, just go somewhere like a movie or a nice resturaunt, a quiet place to talk :) then explain that you had a great time and that you would enjoy spending more time together.

Just be open and talk about it. A good honest discussion never hurt anybody. Suggest time that you can spend together and see how he feels about it.

Men are sucker for compliments and solving problems so how about, "I really enjoy our time together but we're so busy is there any way we could have more of it?
