tetnus is one needle. you go in pull up your sleeve, it takes a sec, you are done.
on the other hand, you cut yourself and end up in emergency, you don't have the needle...you need blood tests, and needles
if you are scared of needles, just go and get it while it is still just one needle...and remember, you don't need one for a while afterwards, might even be your last needle for 10+ years.
it just feels like a small pinch and i promise, only takes a second. bring a friend in, don't look, hold your breathe and its done
remember, sometimes doing something small now save time and energy in the future

You get one needle and it's so small.
You've probably gotten (or at least should have) a Hep. B shot.
The only different is that the tetnus shot gets put into the muscle in your arm.
It doesn't hurt at first, its going to hurt after.
Have you ever had a charlie horse? Where someone punches you in the arm and your arm tightens up a bit after. That's what it's going to feel like.
It goes away in a couple hours. No worries man!

dam it hurts! you know what its better than though, TETNUS! I also had a huge phobia of needles till i ended up in hospital for over a month when a lung collapsed. You get used to it, you can handle it just research what tetnus actually does to you (im thinking it will change your mind). Trust me its worth it

it fairly is a shot that protects you against the tetanus affliction. it fairly is brought about by using a bacteria called Clostridium tetani, and it lives everywhere outdoors. it could get on your physique by way of any ruin interior the exterior. the reason you're advised to get it after being bit or scratched by using a cat is as a results of the fact a cat's ft touch the floor ( they lick their ft), and in the event that they scratch or chew you, the bacteria gets into your blood circulate and ought to influence you. Getting the affliction is unusual, besides the undeniable fact that it is deadly. infants are given tetanus pictures, and one is counseled each 5-7 years afterwards. not all cuts and animal bites provide you the ailment, yet with tetanus, it fairly is better risk-free than sorry.. because of the fact it could kill or maim.

well, it actually truthfully dosnt hurt. Just hold still, all it feels like is someone pinching you and it lasts for less than a second. You may feel a bit sore in the shoulder they give you the shot for a day or so, but dont worry its completely normal.
Cheers.

Its just one shot, but relax and just sing your fav. song in your brain while they are givin u the shot and u will be okay.
Your arm will be sore for 3 days afterwards which is normal
keep ice or heat on it.
