Go to file and then print. When the print window pops up there should be an option near the bottom left that says, "print what:" click on handouts - then over to the right a little, you can choose how many handouts per page to print. Or, you can click on notes page and it will give you the notes that correspond to the ppt page. Good luck!

Go to File>Print Preview>in the box Print What choose Handouts and the number of Slides per page.

Create handouts

1On the View menu, point to Master, and then click Handout Master.

To preview the layout you want, click the buttons on the Handout Master toolbar.

2Add the items you want on the handout master -- art, text, headers or footers, the date, time, or page number.

Items you add appear only on the handouts; no changes are made to the slide master.

3On the Master toolbar, click Close.
4On the File menu, click Print.
5In the Print what box, click the number of slides you want on the handout, and then click OK.

This works for me, but I have PPT. So far as I know, the viewer will only allow you to view the file, not alter it in any way.

First download power point viewer. Its free.
www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=428D5727-43AB-4F24-90B7-A94784AF71A4
As you said, you can open it. Now click on to print--> in the print dialogue box, seletc you want to print Handouts. And there you can select upto 6 slides on one page. This will give you 12 slides on one page used at both sides....
Another way (cause I don't feel you can open the file in the way in whic u would be able to print it with viewer. )...You should first convert that file into pdf. This is easy to do. Download a free pdf converter and u have to install this pdf writer as a printer, so u actually select this printer and print the file, now u will have a pdf file on ur comp. This u can open and print in any way u want with easeness.
Hope it helps!

i dont use powerpoint but i think that when you go to print, when you get the dialog thing, go to print options and there should be an option there for page formatting and stuff...

Go go "print" in your web browser. Then select your rinter and go to preferences. Then select the "pages per sheet".

Alternatively, there is a powerpoint viewer you can download.
