I was not born into a nudist family and therefore I was taught that one should not go around without their clothes on.
Being nude in front of others was acceptable only in certain situations and only for the short time it was required.
WHY!We are bron to be naked, right? Who can tell me why, is it dirty to be naked and be a nudist!
I have found many friends at this site and you also could find me there:

Early training has a lot to do about a person's attitude about nudity.
In my childhood there was very little nudity of any kind.
Now I am 62 years old and even after college, serving in the military and having many lady friends and being married I still feel uncomfortable about being in the nude.
I joined the YMCA and I have go to the whirlpool, sauna, and shower room where most of the men are nude.
I guess I am just selfconciouses and because of my background and also I am overweight does not help.

Choosing to be nude is a very common, comfortable, and natural feeling way to be once you get over the society taboo thing and just get used to it. Only takes a few minutes and suddenly it just feels so RIGHT. I recommend you visit clothing opt beaches near you, and with friends who are naturists too. We feel so sorry for people who think it's disgusting or somehow wrong, maybe they confuse nudity and the hatural human form with something unsavory? Try it you'll like it!

well the reason is our selfishness. Adam and eve were born naked and it didn't bother them, then they took the fruit from the tree there were told not to and instantly they realized they were naked and tried to cover up. it was from selfishness and greed of human nature that causes this

that is a taught responce. In nature there is little fear of showing others your nudity. It is due to the teachings of religion that we do not all go around nude.

Hey it's the nudist guy again... nope, i've still got wood. Sorry, i might put someones eye out.

Oh and i disagree that it's "natural" to be neked. Humans wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for clothes... and who are we to deprive streakers their moment of glory?

It's all situational. If you, and the people around you, think it's ok, then it's ok. If either you, or the people around, are uncomfortable with it, save it for other situations.

It's not bad at all to be nude. Why should we be ashamed of our bodies?

Lots of self-righteous blowhards here.
