Mija definitely means "my daughter", I have never heard of the word "Jamenta," and I'm a Spanish speaker. Beautiful name

There's a slang word in Mexico. If you want something close to "cool", use "chida" (feminine). If you don't know the word, don't believe me. Post another question asking what it means. Do it here or in Y!A in Spanish.

Mija is a slang contraction for mi hija, which means my daughter. Jamenta is not an actual word that I know of. It is a proper name.
