Trust, to me, is the number one most important characteristic of a good relationship. If you can't trust the person you are with, then you will never feel secure in your relationship and you will never be able to give yourself to them completely. If you can't trust them, you SHOULDN'T give yourself to them completely, either. Trust is implicitly necessary in order for you to have good communication in a relationship, as well. If you can't trust and you can't communicate, then it's not much of a relationship.
For me, the biggest signs have been my own instincts. If I have a feeling that I can't trust him, then I probably can't. The hard part is listening to those feelings and learning to trust yourself that way without letting jealousy and paranoia get in the way. I'm thinking that probably just takes practice. I'm still working on that one, myself.

Communication and Trust are number one in any relationship. Without these you will have nothing. You HAVE to have trust!! A few signs that your partner doesn't trust you are, they will always ask questions like where are you going, where have you been, with who, what did you do etc. They might also check up on you or even follow you or listen in on your calls. Not being trusted is not a good feeling to have.

Duh trust is so important it is one of the main things you too should feel for each other.
If your partner does not trust you is ask to do little things like pay bills pick up kids and if he says no then you know he does not trust you!

people chose to ignore obvious signs because of denial.
