We've been friends for 3 years and have always had this "secret" fling going on, but lately he's been much more open about it, even kissing me in front of his family. When we're together he tells me how much he likes me and wants to be with me. He even told my friend the other night he loved me. But when we're not together (I live an hour away) it's like I'm not even alive. I never hear from him. Maybe once a week for like a minute. If you like someone, don't you WANT to talk to them. Now I'm not a huge phone person, but even a 5 minute phone call everyonce in a while would make me happy. I love him so much and can't get my mind off of him. Any ideas? Guys I need your advice. Do you think he's telling the truth about liking me?

I've lived an hour away (or farther when I was in university) from my boyfriend for the last 4 years. We talk usually once a week, but that doesnt mean we don't think about each other. We just get busy with other things when the other isn't around.
If you want to talk to him more you should call him, maybe he's waiting for you to call, just like you're wanting him to call.
