The strongest argument I hear for God's existence is that some kind of intelligence MUST have created everything...so...who created God? Isn't that relevant?

People created god. God didn't create man in his image. Man created god in his own image. Haven't you noticed that god and his illegitimate son jesus look just like the population majority? Hmmm, coincidental, I think not.

one of the greatest mysteries of all time, but if you hear the first chapter of John, John wrote in the beginning was the Word. Jesus is the Word, Jesus was always there with God the Father.

God The Father, God the Son(Jesus), and God the Holy Spirit were always there in the very beginning. No one created God, He was always there. I always think about this as well.

Mankind has finite minds, while God has an infinite mind

1. Whosoever will be saved, before all things it is necessary that he hold the catholic faith;

2. Which faith except every one do keep whole and undefiled, without doubt he shall perish everlastingly.

3. And the catholic faith is this: That we worship one God in Trinity, and Trinity in Unity;

4. Neither confounding the persons nor dividing the substance.

5. For there is one person of the Father, another of the Son, and another of the Holy Spirit.

6. But the Godhead of the Father, of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit is all one, the glory equal, the majesty coeternal.

7. Such as the Father is, such is the Son, and such is the Holy Spirit.

8. The Father uncreated, the Son uncreated, and the Holy Spirit uncreated.

9. The Father incomprehensible, the Son incomprehensible, and the Holy Spirit incomprehensible.

10. The Father eternal, the Son eternal, and the Holy Spirit eternal.

11. And yet they are not three eternals but one eternal.

12. As also there are not three uncreated nor three incomprehensible, but one uncreated and one incomprehensible.

13. So likewise the Father is almighty, the Son almighty, and the Holy Spirit almighty.

14. And yet they are not three almighties, but one almighty.

15. So the Father is God, the Son is God, and the Holy Spirit is God;

16. And yet they are not three Gods, but one God.

There is a very wide gap between creationism as taught by Fundamentalist Christians and the rest of mainstream Christianity. Fundamentalist theology (which both invented and teaches creationism) is of the opinion that the Genesis account of creation is literal history, as scientifically sound as any modern exposition. Jewish and mainstream Christianity still hold to the ancient thought that the details in Genesis are allegorical, and that the writers of the creation accounts (there are two of them that differ greatly) used literary devices to transmit religious truths, not attempting to preserve historical information or to promote a scientific model of the universe. While I am a theist, I have to protest the illogical and unreasonable light that “creationism” has shed on religions who value the Bible. The idea that the universe was created in six 24-hour days, each made up of only an evening giving way to morning (that would make the days 12 hours long if they really wanted to be as literal as they claim), while ignoring the rest of Scripture, science, and a bit more than 2000 years of religious scholarship is insulting to sensibilities of all thinking persons, regardless of creed or lack thereof. You are not alone in believing in the static model of the universe that most non-theists were all too happy to point out to theists as being the view scientists generally accepted. Before Catholic priest Fr. Georges Lemaitre developed the “Big Bang” model and Hubble supplied the data to back up the expanding universe view, theists had nothing to support their belief that there was a time when the universe never was, that there was a beginning. Today practically all accept Fr. Lemaitre’s “Big Bang” model, but interestingly enough many Fundamentalists who teach creationism are against it believing that anything “scientific” must be opposed to their belief in the Bible (which might explain their reaction to anything you suggest). This continues regardless of the fact that it was developed and advanced by a member of religious clergy, albeit Catholic, and provides scientific proof of at least one verse in Genesis, namely: “In the beginning…” (Genesis 1:1) Long live ignorance, even if it does cut off one's nose in spite of their face.

Our finite minds can't comprehend that God is without beginning and without end, but if you'll look at two things that we know about existence you'll see proof of something infinite. We cannot comprehend what is beyond our universe or the one outside of or parallel to this one if there were such a thing etc. and we cannot fully comprehend the dimension of time, in that, even if this time frame that we live in has a beginning and end, what about what came before it and what will be after it. But yet we know that these two things, time, and space, exist.

Ask yourself this question how old is the universe. Infinite? That would make no logical sense because you cannot go back infinetly. Scientist today have proven the Univeres to be non static, which means having a beginning. Therefore what started it. That is God. In order for their to be time, something has to be eternal, that created it. That is God, he is eternal. If you can't comprehend that I understand. Just remember 1 thing, you can deny your conscience, but their will be no mercy for you without Jesus on judgement day.

Relevant to anyone who does not believe in God.
God is not now, nor was he ever a walking, talking human being in need of being created.
The only things created are things that are tangible. God is not tangible.
Have a little faith.
Where do you suppose your blessings come from?

Much like White Goodman, the owner and president of Globo Gym, God created himself. Or that's the line anyway.

Nobody had to creat God. He created everything else. He didn't need to be created. He is God, after all.

That is one of the great questions I want God to explain when I meet Him in heaven. I believe that the answer is something that a human brain can't possibly understand. Some thing have to remain a mystery until we die.
