there is a girl who I like at school but im not sure if she likes me or not? We sometimes talk but its not like a best friend, talk every day sort of thing. Im in 8th grade, and i dont want to ask her out and then have her say no. so how do I tell.

the only sure way is to ask her out and if she says no u gotta try and move on cuz if she doesnt like u for who u are then u shouldnt bother

Best way of course is to ask her out. But make sure that the message and intentions that you're getting from her are clear, particularly if you're talking over the phone. Both this girl and I that I have been dealing with made errors in being unclear over the phone when I asked her out (probably because both of us were nervous), and that left me confused for a while.

8th grade was the year i started experiencing guys. I'm in 9th now and it's still hard. watch her body language when she talks to you. also see if she looks at you a lot or if she talks differently to you than other friends. You don't have to ask her out, but you'll never know unless you try.

Actually, it's best to just come right out and ask and find out the truth. Some girls try to be "sweet" and won't tell you the hard truth. You may get turned down but at least you'll then know exactly where you stand.

well...so far from wat i read t sounds like she sees u as a friend..
but if she flirts with you a lot, tries to be a smartass as to be funny, and who always giggles or laugh bout evrything u say..and if she keeps sayin your funny, and if she looks at u straight in your eye when your talkin...yes..i believe she likes you..
but if you guys just talk like friends do...then i would say probably not..maybe she's just shy and dont know how to show it but to be quite bout it..i dont think it would hurt ur friendship if you tell her that u think she's cute..das all u have to say is that she's cute..and wait for awhile if she starts actin flirty with u .. then she probably does like u..
just do it..so at least this way..u dont have to wonder all the time after a good conversation with her...

i'm in the 8th grade too! just ask her out! you'll never know unless you try. if she says "no", then just move on... it's rather then wondering does she likes you or not everyday. but think about it if she says "yes"... i wish you the best.

just hint her off- of ur thoughts!! do something special- some thing she would like to see a guy she is in to would do !! ( do some home work and find out those first!!)
