We are also the only one that can secede from the US., if we don't feel the U.S. is trying to protect our borders, and finally, we are the only state that can divide itself into three to five states, if we wish to.

texas is the only state in usa that have the flag same level as uniteds state..and other 49 state is below uniteds state flag....cuz i thing texas is powerful i thing !!!!

It could be referring to the war with Mexico. I don't know how it affects other states.
