if you smoke a certain substance for the first time how long typically would it take get out of your system?

Marijuana, if you just smoke it once can be out of your system within a week... However could take as long as a month. If you want to get rid of it fast work out a lot, and drink a lot of water. THC is stored in your lipid fat cells... Hence the working out. The water would just dilude the traces of it. Cocaine, or Crack will usually take around three days... It really depends on what you smoked.

It depends on the potency and your metabolism. It has cleared mine in as little as 7 to 10 days. If you smoke it regularly it can take about 3 to 4 weeks if it is good stuff

depends 'weed can take up to 30 to 45 days to get out;they have an expensive test that they cut a piece of your hair 'and it goes down to the month 'and how many months you were at it....my friend had that test and it took 90mdays to get it all out of her system..now the hard stuff takes awhile also like weeks...LOL

I think for marijuana it takes about a week. If you smoked something like that, don't worry. This is the internet and a questions forum (or close enough). You won't get in trouble on the internet for something like that.

It depends on what kind of drug test they give you because some may show clear in a few days and some could still show things after several months (hair follicle test). Best bet...don't do it!
