Purple lizard
It was a gift to myself after my divorce my ex was writing me stupid letters about what he didnt know about me and one was my fav color i meant to say it's purple loser and said purple lizard instead so thats how i picked what i wanted.
I was 30 and no i do not regret it. I now have 3

I'm currently 23 years old and have two tattoos. My first tattoo I got when I was 16 in my friends living room by a jamacian guy who was passing through town. Its a tribal tattoo on my lower back. Most of the time i forget its even there. My second tattoo I got two years ago on the inside of my left heel. Its the british flag inside a star. I want two more and have no regrets. The only thing I would suggest to not get anything you can't cover with appropriate clothing.

First tat is a daisy on my hip. Loved daisys and wanted a tat. Went with a mate on the day before GST was introduced into Australia so that I could save myself the $5 GST that I would have had to pay if I got it done the following day. My friend and I had always wanted one and just randomly choose a day and that's how it worked out. She ended up with a belly piercing but I got my tat. I was like 19 I think. No regrets as I didn't get silly and add something that would change with time. ie not a boyfriends name, not a fad on tv, not a brand name. Just something classic that represented that time in my life. Second one I got on my lower back and it is my birth sign with sort of tribal stuff beside it. I was 20 or 21 with that one and designed the whole thing. Mum went with me to get that one. She wanted to laugh at my face when the needle struck the nerves surrounding my spine. I don;t regret any of mine and I don't think that I could. I have plans for more and so does my husband. Mine are all in areas that can be hidden so when I tell people that I have tats they don't believe me until I show them.
I don't believe in getting girl or boy friends names on you as these things can change (even when you think at the time that it's forever) I wouldn't get my husbands name on me but have already planned where my childrens names will be tattooed on me and how. Not even pregnant yet with first but have it all worked out. Names not included.
Also, I have a mate who got a big FOX symbol on his back. Fox the motocross label not the tv network. and he now regrets it as Fox is not as cool anymore.
Tats are very addictive and are a personal thing that you can control and they say a lot about your personality.

I got my first tattoo when I was 20. It was a simple one just a rose but it symbalized the birth of my first child. Make sure you get something you really want and get a good artist to do it. Don't be afraid to ask to see pictures of their previous work. I did and I have never regreted any of my tattoos.

36 - a butterfly on my shoulder. I had been teasing my husband about my getting one, we went by a tattoo parlor and he said go for it. What else could I do but get one? I've never regretted it. Got my second one at 45 (Piglet in a garden with a watering can). I don't regret that one either. Actually thinking of getting another one!

My first tattoo was a four leaf clover on my right hip with a banner draped around it and my name in the middle. its about 2 1/2 inches tall (a little big on me because i am 5'4" and was 110 lbs.) It was my 18th birthday present from my boyfriend who is now my husband. I designed it myself. My only regret is not getting it a little bigger. My second tattoo was a flower month later on my left foot. my only regret is getting a daisy looking thing and not a hibiscus flower. My next tattoos i have planned is a hibiscus flower on my left shoulder, a tiki that means "strength" on the inside of my right arm, my daughters name in pretty cursive on the inside of my left wrist, my star sign (aquarius) on the back of my neck, and my husband and i are getting tattoo wedding rings on our anniversary.

I was 19. Small heart outline on my left wrist. no regrets. did hurt because the wrist is a sensitive area. i did it because i wanted a tattoo and i wanted something that i would like and i knew what i wanted before i went to the tattoo parlor. I have a motto, i keep my heart hidden but i also wear it on my sleeve ( litterally). so it has meanings if one wants to go deep.

First tattoo is Yellow Submarine, that I got when I was 26 years old, it is on my lower back. I got this tattoo as a memorial for my dad who died 12 yrs ago today, we both loved The Beatles!

first one for me is of my 2 boys names on it. No regrets. I was 38 at the time.
