Since this question is asked 254 times a day, I was wondering, pure practically, how it should function. A Christians Only Section.

A dear friend of mine deconverted while using this Religious section, from Christian to atheist. At what point should she have unplugged her computer? When she started to doubt? When she was done deconverting?

I also see many people on this forum talking about things like "those are not true Christians". This sentence is usually used when a Christian says something bad. Are those people allowed in a pure Christian section? The not so true Christians?

So, simple question for those who are dying to make this an All Christian Section: how should it work and where are the limits?

It will not make a diffrence. If you say somthing it means something. If you say nothing it means something. Have you ever talked to a person, and no matter what you said .He did it better, worked harder and suffered more.
By the way I am a Christian.

I think most folks are looking for a section about religion and spirituality, and not a 'Christians Only' club. And, while some people may want atheists off this section as a matter of principle, I think more people would rather see legitimate questions about religious belief, and not "list 5 reasons why you hate Jesus," "why are Christians the taliban of the USA," "are all Christians retarded," "how can Christians swim with their heads full of rocks?" or "how long will it take for the Christians to evolve into monkeys" (all real questions).

I have been in here for about 9 months and I have not seen a large amount of people who want to make this Christian only. I have seen on the whole good dialog and many of us have worked together to kick out the intolerant and racist. I am not a push-over, accept all others beliefs person here, but I try to be respectful and keep the peace here.

considering even as are questions and solutions on the concern of religion and Spirituality constrained to those who believe? So what might want to be the point of an "Atheist" section? seems fairly redundant to me. What next, non-electorate no longer allowed to participate in vote casting and Elections?

The internet is a free forum of ideas and should never be regulated. Excluding persons or content from a particular area is the domain of places like North Korea and Turkmenistan, not those who believe in freedom of expression and freedom of thought. Anyone who doesn't want to permit the free exchange of information shouldn't turn on a computer.

That's the only way any religion can flourish....unchecked. All ideas should be challenged because people are basing life choices on the validity of these ideas. That is why there are so many private christian schools. No one is there to challenge the content of the curriculum.

Question everything.

I think that it would be a good idea to make little subsections in the "Religion & Spirituality" section for each religion. Like a "Christianity" section, a "Judaism" section, a "Hindu" section, etc. And then a "General - Religion & Spirituality" section. It would allow people to target a certain audience with their question(s).
