If you sincerely believe this is an abuse, then you can contact your divorce attorney, who will help you contact the court to request modification of the custody agreement.

But . . . based on what you've written, I don't see the problem. He's an MD, and the scripts are cough medicine for your kids' coughs.

I encourage you to let this go and be sure you keep your kids out of the middle of any negative feelings you may have for your ex.

Quite frankly, this sounds as though you're wanting to put your kids in the middle with this complaint. Many doctors write scripts for cough syrups containing codeine or hydrocodone for children every day; they're very effective, and very safe. Unless you have some reason to think that he did this maliciously, find some other way to get back at the guy for whatever is p*ssing you off, for the sake of your kids.

Report him to the AMA.
He is breaking the law and you know it.
If he is allowed to get away with then you are as guilty as him!
It also wouldn't hurt to talk to an attorney..

Unless you have sole custody - it is not outside of his rights.
