Sufficient amount of sugar be it sugar or brown sugar is beneficial to our health, over consuming sugar will leads to health hazzard.

Brown sugar is better for you then white sugar. I do not know why I just know it is better for you.

Sugar = sucrose
Brown Sugar = sucros + a bit of molasses to make it brown

Neither is better or worse for you; the less sugar in most people's diets, the better off they are.
