I'm heading into the city tomorrow, and will wind up in Grand Central Terminal. I'm trying to get to East Williamsburg in Brooklyn. How do I get to the L train to get to Brooklyn? Is the L train located in Grand Central Terminal, or do I have to take another subway to get to the L?

Grand Central Station is at 42nd Street. Take the #4, 5, or 6 train downtown to 14th Street/Union Square and follow the signs to the L train (at the end of the platform and down the stairs)
