My 8 week old golden retriever has a little white on 2 of her paws

Yes that's normal. My Mom's golden has a couple little spots that looked like white on the paws when she was that little. It went away as her puppy fur fell out and her golden adult hair came in. And she is definately pure, she is AKC registered and comes from championship bloodline.

I had a golden retriever with a white spot on his head and one on the tip of his nose. He was kind of reddish for a golden, too. His younger brother, who also lived with us, was a more typical-looking golden. So yeah, I'd say it's just a natural variation.
