I know a guy that recently was paralized due to a gunshot wound to the back. I am really attracted to this guy. But I was just wondering, if we ever got intimate. Will he be able to get an erection. He currently uses catheters (urinary).

So I take it if I were to perform Fellatio he wont even feel the pleasure. Wow! Well it doesn't matter, I still like him and am willing to be there for him.

Yes, it is usually medically induced like Viagra or something. I have a friend that is also paralized from the waist down...he is sexually active...but has no feeling.

Yes. Being paralized affects movement- eg. using muscles because of nerves, etc. That's putting in very simply. Anyway, an erection is caused by increased blood flow to the penis. It's not a muscle. I also have a paralized friend and he hates it because he can't participate during sex.

Yes they can. If they use Viagra and get physical therapy it will help them to be able to get an erection. But they cannot participate if they have a catheter in at the same time.

It really does depend on the extent of his back injuries. There are people that are paralyzed that can get erections. However, there are also people that cannot. I wish you the best of luck!
