The other day my neck hurt when i woke up.I did not feel the bump until.. a couple days ago.It dosent hurt at all is is behind my right ear.Its hard..kinda looks like a bite..its a little bit red..what could it be?

If it stays there for a few days, go get checked by a doctor. In all likelihood, it's just a pimple, a flea or spider bite, or an ingrown hair, but it could be something else...better safe than sorry. You have pressure points behind your ears, and swelling there could become uncomfortable quickly. Keep an eye on it for the next day or two, and if it gets worse, go see a doc!

hunny listen u can never be to careful.if u have any concern go to the doctors yes it could be a pimple ,it could be a spiter or a bug bit but please go to your family doctor and get it checked out. because my sister in law had the same problem where all of a sudden she had a bump and it hurt , and it turned out to be a cancerous mole (but she got it taken off and she totally fine now !) but please don't panic! just show someone that u love or trust and ask them if it lookes ok . :)

see behind your left ear and on your arm , if you find , go and check your serum uric acid

it could be a cyst. apply a warm towel to it and see it it comes to a head in the morning. if a head appears its a pimple more than likely. if massive amounts of puss come out it may be a cyst (with staphylococcus aereus) and you may need antibiotics or have it removed

I wouldnt touch it if i were you. It prob. is a bite of some sort. wait affew more days and if the sweling doesnt go down its doctor time

it may just be a swollen lymph node,, it could just be from a minor cold..its nothing to worry about..unless of course it gets worse...but a proper diet, rest, staying warm, and time will fix it back to normal... thats what it was everytime i had exactlly what your describing...one time it was a huge zit, thoonly 1nc out of 6 or 7

My first guess is a boil or cyst. like someone else answered put moist heat to see if it comes to ahead. also neosporin (an antibiotic) ointment could help.

i got bit by a spider once on my cheek when i was sleeping and it was a small red bump.maybe that could be it
