I just got my navel pierced a week ago and I wanted to know what are some good tips for cleaning it. I dont want it to get all infected and nasty. I already clean it with a sea salt solution and use aloe vera. Any ideas?

Just the sea salt solution, hot for like 5 minutes. I wouldn't use the aloe vera, that's for topical use - not for open wounds. Also avoid alcohol as it can prevent healing and increase scarring, and peroxide which can leave a residue. If it feels hot or sore than go to a doctor immediately, do not wait and see because infections can get worse really fast and starting treatment as soon as possible is important.

I would suggest you stop using the aloe vera, and use the saltwater solution you are using along with cleaning it with dial antibacterial soap one to two times a day.
