The best thing to do is run what ever part you burned under cold water to help dull the pain and relieve the heat that is in the skin.

After you do this for about 5 to 15 minutes, apply if you have it Aloe Vera plant . Do not apply any butter or any cream with Fragrance or any Oil's for that matter for it will only cause further irritation

If you do not have any burn cream then simply leave it be and DO NOT pop the blisters for they are the body's natural pain reliever and healer

make sure you get that glue off of your skin ASAP even though it will hurt badly. By leaving the glue on your skin it can cause infection. If you were to go to the emergancy room they will scrap it off.

hold the burned area under cold running water for at least 10 minutes, or immerse the burn in cold water or any cool liquid that you can drink, such as soft drinks or milk. You can also apply a cold compress to the burn if water is unavailable or unclean. Don't use ice water or put ice directly on a burn, as this may further damage the skin.

Next, cover the burn with a sterile non-adhesive gauze bandage, wrapped loosely to avoid pressure. (Bandaging protects blistered skin from potential contamination by airborne bacteria.) Change the bandages daily if the burn is blistered and oozing, and take an over-the-counter pain reliever if the burn continues to hurt. An anti-inflammatory pain reliever, such as ibuprofen, can help reduce inflammation as well as the pain.

Blisters sometimes form over second-degree burns. Try not to break these: Blisters are part of the body's normal healing process and protect against infection. If a blister does break, wash the area gently with mild soap and cool water, then -- if the burn is not serious -- apply an antibiotic ointment to prevent infection. If it's severe, don't apply an ointment or lotion of any kind. Have your doctor look at the burn and help you decide whether to apply ointment and, if so, which antibiotic preparation is likely to be most effective.

Get an ice pack and put it on your arm. There's nothing you can do to prevent a scar, you can only do something to help it not scar so bad by letting it heal on it's own. If you have broken skin some antibiotic cream might be a good idea too. Hope this helps.

Take tylenol for the pain, wash the burn with soap and warm water, then run some cool water over the burn, treat with an antiseptic, then cover with a band-aid. My son burned his hand on the oven one time and this is what the pediatrician told me to do!

cold water or ice instantly, then antibiotic iotment and band aid or gauze on it until it drys out.

vaseline will not prevent infection....it could actually culture an infection. It is just an inert medium. You need something with an antibiotic in it like neosporin or bacitracin (eseentially antibiotic vaseline)

Cold water and/or ice. Keep it there until you can take it off and not hurt anymore.
