You can use a dual-layer recordable dvd. The software or hardware you're using can fit 4hrs of data in a single dvd by using compression.

There are many factors to take into consideration, the biggest one being the quality of the video/audio that you're putting onto your disc. Dont look at the minutes necesarily, look at the size of the file. If you have one video that's 120mins, but it's 2.2 gigs in size, you can actually fit another 120mins or 2.2 gigs or so onto the same 4.7gig blank. If you can burn dual layer discs with your burner, you can fit 8.5gigs of space onto one disc.
