Say something about how you're deleting your Myspace because you're tired of maintaining it, or you don't like how it's an invasion of privacy, or something. Explain why you're getting rid of it, and people won't be offended.

Remember though, if you post a bulletin, you will need to keep your account active for a few days, otherwise the bulletin will be deleted as well.
