Not for me. I dont have the ability to express it. The closest I can get is on my knees, on my face, crying His name.

of course it is, you love god very much. Well when it doesnt require anything from you...i dont see many of you giving all your money to the poor or doing other "more demanding" things that are in the bible...So we can say you love god very very very much when it comes to just words, words, words

Whenever I try to think of the words that would describe my love for God, I come up empty-handed and I'm left speechless.

"Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God![a] Therefore the world does not know us,[b] because it did not know Him. 2 Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. 3 And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure." 1 John 3: 1-3

But Thou O Lord art a God merciful and gracious
Slow to anger and abundant in lovingkindness and truth.
Psalm 86:15
How can we express love for Him when He gave His only Son to shed His precious blood to pay the penalty for our sin? I am eternally greatful!

Words aren't necessary, I think the number '0' does the trick.

No way! I mean when you realize how much he LOVES you and how much he CARES about you and how much he has DONE for you.
And you realize the extent of WHO he is.
How can you put that into words? All we can do is do our best!

......nope...........
He sent his one and only son to die a really brutal death (the cross was the brutalist form of torture and death in the roman world) so that i have the opportunity to be forgiven for all the wrong things in my life.
God loves me UNCONDITIONALLY I could turn my back on God as i am writing this but God would be there, He never leaves me he's here when i go to bed and when i get up - yeh i cant see him and only hear him talk to me when i've asked him something or he's got something to tell me.
Need i go on

I have not been able to articulate it in 35 years. Now grated, I'm not an oratory genius, but I cant even come close.
He's just that good.
