I feel I am the only person. I do not know anyone who has had this condition.

It is a condition where the cerebral spinal fluid does not drain like it should. It builds up in your brain and causes BAD headaches, for me it causes nausea/vomiting, blurred vision and other visual disturbances. The build up of fluid puts pressure on the optical nerve and casues it to swell, which is why it is such a serious condition because a swollen optical nerve can lead to permannet blindness. I just had an LP shunt put in(a shunt device..small little tubey thing) and it runs from my spine to my stomach under my skin(you cannot see it) and it regulates my spinal fluid. It is more prevalant in young women who are on the overweight side..Not always but most of the time. I am just curious if anyone knows anyone with this or anyone that has it. It would be nice to have someone to talk to that can relate to me. It is so rare and hard to find others with this. Hope this helps a little! :)

And to top it off...they now are concerned over my blood pressure(which I am working on by diet and exercise) AND I have a bad case of anxiety/panic disorder.

Could you explain it a little better please? If I have a better idea of what it is I might, but all those fancy words are confusing me! lol
