I know how important your high school years are. I personally think you should stay. be cause think of how much you will miss out on and it's high school how are people going to remeber you as the kid who left because she had to move so i say stay there and finish your high school year. That is most important

Go with your family! You never know who you may meet or what might happen in Hawaii! What if you miss out on a great chance over in Hawaii? I'm sure you'll make new friends over there. (But you won't make any new friends if you keep thinking about the worst-be positive.) IM, e-mail, call and occasionally visit your old friends whenever you can. That's what I do with mine. Moving isn't always easy-you get lonely and feel bored. But after you go to school and make the effort to meet people 'n' give them a chance-then you find yourself with some friends.
So yeah, go with your family and have a great time. This may be your only chance to go to a place where people only DREAM of going. Like I said, you never know who you may meet or what might happen in Hawaii. So take a leap of faith and go with your family!
I wish you all the best!!!!

Go with your family. In this instance family is more important(my opinion). Your Dad will appreciate the support even though he may not come out and tell you. Men like to know that their families are behind them even if they are not thrilled with the decisions. Besides he is not moving you away because he wants to make your life miserable. He is going because of work-to better provide for you.
You can always make new friends. You had to make friends with the ones you are friends with now...Right? Just be yourself and start with small talk. And because of technology you can keep in touch with your old friends.
You never know what kind of opportunities await you there either.
It would give you a good vacation option for your spring breaks. You could go visit your old friends (I am sure your parents would not object.) Your friends could come and visit you on their spring break.
If you don't go think of all the family moments you may not be part of. You are worried about missing times with your friends. Is that worse than missing moments that happen in your own family?
Give it a whirl. This could be the best thing that happens to you. You dont go who knows what you could be passing up.
Remember, your friends are just a phone call, an e-mail, a letter, or a visit away.
Hope you make the right choice.

Look at this as a wonderful gift. Not many of us get to go to Hawaii. You know you will make friends. It will probably happen quickly, too. You can email and call your friends any time.
I say give it a month and if you haven't made any friends and hate it, move back. Most likely you will have a new life by then.

If you are able to stay where you are I feel that is the best decision. My family moved to Hawaii and it sounded great but school was difficult unless you have native blood and the family eventually got island fever-nowhere to go unless you have alot of money to travel off the island occasionally.

I think you are not giving yourself enough credit. If you have friends now, you will make friends again. And Hawaii?! All your friends will want to come visit for sure. Think how cool it would be to graduate in a hula skirt :). And I bet your family (and you) would really hate to be apart. You only get so many years to be a close family. Don't waste any.

I would move with your family.
You can stay in contact with all your friends, and you will work out who your real friends are.
It will also be a great experience for you and will make you grow as a person, by living a totally different lifestyle.
Good Luck and wish it was me

Just tell your Dad the right thing and in the end, he will do he right thing.
If for some reason, he is selfish, then he isn't your dad, stay with your friend.
