My husband was walking in the mall parking lot and got hit by a car from behind. He said he fell and got knocked out for a few minutes. He did't get the liscence. He's coming home in a cab. Should I make him go to the hospital? We don't have the money for it but I want to take care of him no matter what. He says he is fine. What should I do??

Ok, we filed a report. He is okay. Thanks for your concern everyone. The mall security is checking their tapes to see if they got the guy who hit him.

Yes, and fill out an accident report with the police.
They will run an article in the newspaper seeking people who may have witnessed the accident.
Please go to a hospital to make sure there are no internal injuiries.

Take him to the hospital, and file a police report. If he can provide a description, there is a chance you could find out who did it. Even "Minor" accidents can cause permanent damage if it isn't taken care of immediately.

Take him to any type of help, even someone unlicensed if you can't afford it, and stay by his side offering help. Ask him what the car looked like. A hit-and-run--- that's terrible!
