She has been walking very Funny and that includes her back legs VERY close to the floor. Could she have something wrong with her hip or her legs? Could she have an abcess or something.... there are no signs of that.

Call a vet. Could be a number of things. (broken bone, blockage in digestive tract, arthritis, etc)

An abscess would be visible. Have you looked her over? Feel around and see if anything seems to hurt, that could give the vet a clue as to what is wrong. Also, make sure she is still going to the bathroom well.

Are her back legs stretched out behind her or crouched? An abcess would be around an area of the skin where there was a bite or puncture of some sort. It would most likely not cause problems with both legs, but check around and between her back legs for anything unusual. Could she have been in a fight, or gotten something dropped on her? Both legs could indicate a back issue. If this is not how she normally walks and it doesn't change, your best bet is a vet who can take xrays if necessary.

If the tail is limp and swollen there is something incorrect, the two an infection, that would open up and drain, or such as you reported a dislocated or broken tail. i might think of that the vet might have observed if this alteration into the case if there replace into an intensive examination executed. Even without x-rays those variety of tail injuries are many times fairly obtrusive. Cats are infamous for buying chew wound infections, from different cats, assuming that your cat has possibility to be in touch with different pussycats. notwithstanding if that's an infection that's going to initiate getting extra advantageous from the antibiotics very quickly. If the priority keeps, chew the bullet, and circulate lower back to the vet. extra advantageous risk-free, than sorry.

Take Your Cat To The Vet

Well, the trip to the vet sounds about right. I can't help but wonder though, and I could be wrong, but when my female
cat came into heat, she did this same thing. Does she
mew and act extremely freindly? Rolling on the floor?

Just a thought... then again if she goes outside, she may have
been "brushed" by an automobile and she may have an injury.

best of luck

We had a similar thing happen to a 8 week old kitten we adopted - we thought she fell from a high place or the other adult cat beat up on her - my husband insisted that the vet Xray her. He did but it was not a break or anything. Then he took her temperature. There was a "virus" that gave her a fever and "settled in her joints". After a few days on medicine she was just fine.

Gave us a scare though! I would have them take her temp before spending on an Xray!

Being that your cat favers the one leg it is passable that it could be broke or dislocated. Take her to your vet and have them ex-ray that leg. Don't loose hope and get her help before she has a bigger problem. Good Luck

Sounds like distemper or a tummy problem. Get her to the vet immediatly. Try to isolate her from other cats until you know for sure.

you should most likely take it to a vet... they can access the damage from there... if you cat is hurt and you don't think so and she actually is then that would not be good and then some serious damage could be done to it!!! and that would be bad...
