There's so much talk about the rapture, the end times, the Mayan calendar, etc. What I want to know is how you personally see it happening. Will you consciously be aware of it, will your body go with you, will Jesus part the clouds and rise you up, etc. What's your personal take on it.

Please don't give me any scripture verses either. No, I'm not a Christian, but I was. I've read the bible from front to back twice and the book of Revelation at least six or seven times. This is your vision I want to hear about.

All In One Flop

All I said was don't give me a scripture...say it in your own words, your own vision. If you can't do that, that's not my problem.

Gospel According to Saint Matthew
Chapter 6

33 Seek ye therefore first the kingdom of God, and his justice, and all these things shall be added unto you.

34 Be not therefore solicitous for tomorrow; for the morrow will be solicitous for itself. Sufficient for the day is the evil thereof.

The origins of the doctrine of the rapture are hotly debated. The Orthodox, mainline Protestant, and Roman Catholic churches (which represent the majority of Christians worldwide) have no tradition of such a teaching and reject the doctrine, in part because they cannot find any reference to it among any of the early Church fathers and in part because they do not interpret the scriptures the way that Rapture-believers do

you want me to answer a biblical question without referencing the bible? if you have read it that many times you should know the folly in your stating that. you need to come back to christ, because right now you wont be raptured at all, if there is one. you would also know that actually the rapture is not exactly biblical so much as it is folklorish. The Mayan calendar says Earth will end in 2027. These two events are totally unrelated.

Yes we'll know it's happening. Jesus will part the clouds and will take with him all those that truly believe. I'm not sure if our bodies will be lifted up or just our souls, either way I can't wait.

I am a Christian and my version would only be a guess, since God only knows the details. But, yes I think we are near end times, and I don't want to be present on earth when the terrible ordeal of tribulation is happening. It will be horrible for those who are left here.

I picture one minute here, next second someplace else with a bunch of others that were taken up, and friends and family waiting for us, and nothing but joy...I do picture us in the clouds with Jesus as the bible says, then Heaven.

No one really knows when it will happen. And there's not much more that can be added to that fact.

I just REALLY doubt the Second Coming coincides with the end of the Mayan calendar.

You read the Bible twice? Did you see the word "rapture" anywhere on those 2 readings? This is a concept that I do not beleive since it is unsciptural.

We will be aware. Only the soul goes to Heaven
or Hell. He will make way for us to reach Heaven and the Arch Angel will cast the evil ones into the fires of Hell.

I believe when we are caught up to meet the Lord in the Air our bodies will be transformed into the same type of body that He had at His resurrection.

I don't believe a rapture will happen. We will all have to take part in it.
