just because it says so in the Bible itself?
So imagine i write a book and i say that it was inspired by god, why wouldnt you believe me but you choose to believe someone who lived more than 2000 years ago?
So if i write an "inspired" book, may it be possible than in 2000 years a lot of people are worshipping it just because i say it is inspired???

Why not?

Depending on who you talk to, "inspired by God" has a variety of meanings. There are a lot of texts out there that are full of good and useful things that, for any number of reasons, are not considered to be officially inspired by God. And yet, many people will claim inspiration from somewhere...

As for the Bible, people for centuries poored over religious texts that were used by the community and tried their best to come up with the ones where the truth rang the loudest. I personally believe that if the Bible is inspired by God, then that there are other writings that are too; they just don't fall into the category of "central" writing.

The bible was written over a period of 1500 years by 40 different authors. It has been found to be historically, geographically, scientifically and archeaologically 100% accurate. There are mathematical codes in it that cannot be done by any man or computer. In researching this I came across a book called "The Signature of God" by Grant Jeffrey that provided incredible evidence for the inspiration of the bible. Peace :-)

Because we don't think, we know. We know the truth and have the wisdom to know. If you would write a book , a Christian could tell, by reading between the lines,if you are a true believer and Christian. With what you have already written in the contents of your question, and if you did write a book , like you explain. It wouldn't take a brain scientist to know that it is not inspired, nor be worthwhile to be worshipped or even read. Good try !

The question that we have in these last days for this world's history is not do you believe in God. Many people believe in God. They say they are Christians, but rob, kill, and commit adultery. The real question is do you believe God. Did you catch the difference? Satan believes "in" God. But do we believe God - His word, the Bible.

If you study the time prophecies of Daniel and Revelation and how God foretold and inspired Godly men to write what He has shown them what would happen to the world's empires, thousand of years before it happened, you would be shaking in your pants. And from the looks of your picture icon, you must have been shaking, since you dropped your drawers. You'd better start reading the Bible, cuz you can't afford to loose anything else.

The Bible had more that just one author,

it had plenty,

from different times on the earth,

It's not like the Jehovah's witness bible,

and was composed with many different motives.

There are also many different books in the bible and the writers proably didn't know that what they wrote was going to come together as the Bible

There are other factual documents besides the Bible that prove that it was inspired by God. Those documents also proved that Jesus really walked the Earth and died on the cross as written in the Bible.

For me, it is a matter of faith. I have read and studied the Bible and asked God to let me know if it his word. When God answers you in sincere prayer and you are receptive to his will, it's a feeling you can't deny. But trying to explain that feeling to someone that's never felt it is like describing the taste of salt to someone that's never tasted salt.

I THINK THAT GOD CAME OUT WITH THE BIBLE SO THAT WE CAN KNOW HOW WE SHOULD LIVE, TO HONOR HIM, TO KNOW ABOUT HOW THE SINNERS ARE, AND TO KNOW THE PURPOSE OF OUR LIFE. HE DIDN'T JUST CREATED US JUST TO EXIST. THERE HAS TO BE MORE TO LIFE THAN JUST LIVING AND DIEING. GOD HAS A PURPOSE FOR EVERYTHING. NO, IT IS A MATTER OF CHOOSING TO BELIEVE THAT IT IS REAL. FOR ME I CAN GO BY THE TIMES THAT I SHOULD HAVE BEEN DEAD, BUT HE HAS KEPT ME ALIVE ALL THIS TIME. WELL I WOULDN'T BELIEVE IF YOU WROTE A BOOK , BECAUSE GOD'S WORDS ARE TO SMART FOR ANYONE TO EVEN TRY AND COPY HIS INTELLIEGENCE. EVEN A GENIUS COULD NOT OUTSMART GOD, HE IS KNOWS EVERYTHING. GOD IS TOO CLEVER FOR US, TO EVEN GET ON HIS LEVEL. I DON'T REALLY GET WHAT YOU BEEN BY BEING INSPIRED???? ALSMOST EVERYTHING THAT WAS WRITTEN IN THE BIBLE HAS CAME TO PAST, AND HAS TO DEAL WITH REALITY.SORRY BUT, YOU HAVE NOTHING COMPARED TO THE B......I.......B......L....E

Ahem. The bible was written (and edited) by MANY someones. There are 23 different bibles and they all have things in them that the rest don't.

People will believe anything. Hell, apparently true believing muslims believe that if they die for a god, that they'll be rewarded by having sex with 23 virgins in a ficticious place called heaven. So, where'd the virgins come from?

More of the uneducated believing anything.
