The last time i went to my doctors i did not pick up the perscription i was supposed to from my chemist, im worried the next time i see my doctor he will be able to check on his systems that i didnt pick it up, is this the case......?

The important issue for you and your doctor is not whether or not you got and took the medication he prescribed, but that you're honest with him and let him know you didn't. He won't judge you, but if you're going back with the same problem, he needs to know why you didn't try the medication otherwise he may just assume you did take it and end up giving you another treatment with more potential side-effects. Together, you should agree on a management plan that you are happy to adhere to.

Why didn't you pick it up? I have not had prescriptions filled at the drug store lots of time because I just didn't need them. Just be honest with him if he needs to know if you took the medication. He is not going to the trouble to check if you picked it up.

why not go back to the chemist and pick up your script,they do have a long life i think its 3 months.
