Hypnosis is simply an intense state of concentration. There is no way that a hypnotist can make you do something you wouldn't otherwise want to do. The hypnotist simply leads you through a series of exercises that allow you to relax your muscles and focus entirely on the voice of the hypnotist and the "images" that arise while in trance.

Most people undergo hypnosis for a particular goal. The suggestions of the hypnotist are designed to help remove the internal barriers that prevent reaching that goal.

For example, if you are trying to lose weight, the hypnotherapist might suggest to a person in trance that they be aware of every bite of food they take in, and notice every slight feeling of the food settling in the stomach, and notice how quickly the stomach can feel full. In the intense concentration of hypnosis, the person visualizes, hears, and feels these sensations as if they were actually happening. The trance is closed with a suggestion that they will have this exact same experience the next time that food enters their mouth, and every time thereafter.

Hypnotism is just a form of deep relaxation where you can tap in to the subconscious mind. At all times the person being hypnotized has full control and aware of everything going on.

There are many different theories about this. The most widely accepted is that hypnotized people just sort of "play along" and they simply become more agreeable as they go deeper into the trance. Or something like that, I'm hardly an expert.

I consider that hypnotism can aid humans in severe instances. However i ought to have a verified notion within the guy/girl acting the hypnosis as i'm mistrusting of what they as participants can implant into the brain.

It depends what hypnotism means to you.

To some extent a person can "tap" into the subconscience mind, but not to an extent as you see on T.V.
