Lynchburg Lemonade
A refreshing cocktail named after Lynchburg, Tennessee, the sadly dry hometown of the Jack Daniel's Distillery
(no samples to be had there).
Fill a collins glass with ice.
1 oz.Jack Daniels
1/2 oz.Triple Sec
1 oz. Sweet & Sour
Fill with 7up
Stir Well
OR
Mixed Drink Recipes
Jack Daniels Float
Ingredients: 1 1/2 oz Jack Daniels whiskey
2 scoops vanilla ice cream
6 oz cola
Directions: Add ice with 1 tblsp ice cream, Jack Daniels, and 2 oz cola.
Shake gently.
Add remainder of ice cream and cola.
Serve in: 12 oz glass

Back in the late 70's and early 80's there used to be a recipe in Playboy and Penthouse magazine for a drink called "Swamp Water".
It was Jack Daniels, lemon bar mix or lemonade, lime juice and orange liquer, they served it in a Mason Jar, it had a picture of an alligator with a straw drinking the surrounding water.
I am 50 years old and have a very factual memory, and 2 classical copies of the magazine for the 25th anni Penthouse (1980) and the 35th anni Playboy (1987).
