best advice to help dog with colitis?

Hi! My dog has the same problem. Apparantly it happens frequently in pure bread dogs.

On the advice of her vet, I give her one Metamucil "cookie" each day. It's been five years and she's doing great.

The important thing is to put them on a predictable diet and not feed them table scraps or anything that will upset their bowels.

go tothe vet - follow his advice - and give your dog lots of TLC
