Hello! I'm brazilian and i want to know who was borned first? The egg or chicken? because in my country the people says that egg came before. And now i want to know how is american opinion.

Fredric Cohen (1959 AD- ) pointed out that, had the egg come first, there would have been no chicken (hen) to lay it, sit on it and keep it warm, so a live chick would never have hatched from it. So the egg needs a chicken. The question now is where did that first chicken come from? If only an egg that is laid by a chicken and that will hatch into a chicken can be considered a chicken egg: Then the first chicken came from a different type of egg (not a chicken egg) and laid the first chicken egg. In this case eggs (in general) came first, the chicken came after, and the chicken egg came last.

BOTH, because you need a chicken to lay the egg but you need and egg to hatch the chicken

sorry but eggs cant come first it has to be a chicken first but what i really think is that god made maybe 2 chickens a guy one and a woman and then had babies amnd then there an egg.

at first there was no egg or chicken but an organism, like becteria or fungus. it started of small and evolved bit by bit. it reproduce by multiplying it self, but along the way, as this orgnism is multipying, its chromosome get messed up and it changes. as time goes by this changes cause the organism to reproduce differently. it multiply itself in a differnt way. instead of exact duplicate, it reproduce a smaller version of itself. and millions of years passes, this orgnism turned into something much bigger and it reproduces alot differently. instead of multiplying it lays egg. so the chicken comes first.

Depends on what you believe in. If you are an atheist, and don’t believe in God, then it’s the egg. But if you believe in God, then you believe that He created all animals, so then it’s the chicken.
