At a recent debate over the battle for Islamic ideals in England, a British-born Muslim stood before the crowd and said Prophet Mohammed's message to nonbelievers is: "I come to slaughter all of you."

"We are the Muslims," said Omar Brooks, an extremist also known as Abu Izzadeen. "We drink the blood of the enemy, and we can face them anywhere. That is Islam and that is jihad."

Drinking blood is forbidden in Islam. The guy is completely off his rocker. Rule of thumb when you hear an extremeist talk, let it go in one ear and out the other. Muslims are strong, but there is no way that we are that powerful.
Come on you know as well as I do Muslims keep quiet in other countries because they know they act up they'll be knocked to the ground; especially, the states.
His words were used to inspire fear. Fear controlled is your greatest alley. Fear that is used can become the enemy of the one who uses it.
Trust in God. He will settle all and I accept His decision.

From what I've read so far of the Quran, these people have perverted the teachings to meet their own evil desires. They're no different from the so-called Christians that have likewise twisted the words of the Bible to support their hatred.

Religion is what its followers make it to be, and sadly, many followers of Islam (as well as other religions) make it a weapon against their fellow man.

The root of their faith has been cut clean from the branches it once produced.

Yes, it is a peaceful religion. Just because one person said somethings does mean he or she is speaking for the religion if you do that then should we read what Hitler said? BJP leaders say? Tamil Tigers say? NO. Judge a religion by investigating it and not its people. Peace.

It does not say that in Quran. Are we to hold Islam accountable for what 1.2+ billion Muslims? If thats the case then there are idiots in every religion for your knowledge. By the way which religion do you belong to?

That question is sorta like asking if Christians are canniballistic for eating flesh and blood at communion. Both are peaceful, but if looked at the wrong way by the wrong person, it can be taken out of perspective.

Some people are just idiots, by the way. Don't judge a religion based on the actions of a few.

There are verses like that in the Bible. Those two are just an example of people taking verses and passages out of books and using them to their advantage. Christianity would seem like a violent religion if you just looked at certain verses.

but its not islam and its not Muhammad's (pbuh) message. i dont know why you take his message as more important than the message of the muslims who protest against it. i'll probably get thumbs down for saying islam is not violent but that just goes to show how much more validity people give to violence than peace. my voice is passive and so its not heard and they are aggressive so they fasely represent my beliefs. there are fanatics everywhere, you should know
