we r Mother Hen's babysitting- still teenagers
we have passed out flyers business cards and brochures
haning up flyers
what other ways could we let people with kids no about our business? we would like them to be safe ways
please help me!!!!!!!!

The best way to me to find a good baby sitter is by word of mouth from people I trust. You need to find people to get you started and do your very best and stick to doing the very best you can and ask them to tell your friends. If you have a big event coming up and you think they will be looking for a babysitter you might want to notify them in advance just to prepare them and if you have someone from your group you could recommend then you should do so. Parents like to feel comfortable with the same people watching there children not strangers all the timie so try to set up a plan with them and explain what you are doing with them and be sure to be mature and show you know how to take care of the child or children but also that you can entertain them. Hang out in parks. Join on-line parent forums like babygaga.com, babycentral.com, babytalkzone.com etc. Advertise you business there; well don't make it obvious, just introduce yourself and make sure you include that you run a babysitting service. Eventually someone will bite, then you'll get the word of mouth business.

You could get a website going also try your local newspaper putting an ad up. Last u could go around and let people know about u guys and what u plan to do

If you drop off leaflets at Maternal health centres would be a good idea. Perhaps even dropping some leaflets off at local primary schools.

you could put an ad in the news paper and also pass out flyers at places that parents take their children such as soccer fields, dance lessons, swimming lessons, gymnastics lessons ect...
