I am very into homeopathic medicine for my pets, to He** with taking my dog to the vet every time there is a issue that I can resolve myself. I'd be in the poor-house if I rushed her to the vet for every little thing. Now, Im not saying, dont take your pet to the vet, cuz there are some things only a vet can help you with. However, I clean my dogs ears with Apple Cider Vinegar, un-diluted. I put some in a small cup and get a clean washcloth and dip it in and swab the folds gently, sometimes I use a q-tip if needed as well. I then let het shake the excess out herself. Once a week, after her bath I put 1 or 2 drops of un-diluted Apple Cider Vinegar in each ear and massage gently for a couple minutes, each ear. then again let her shake the excess out. She rubs her ears on the carpet for a few minutes afterward, but her ears are clean and have no odor or infection. P.S. The grocery store kind of vinegar is filtered and the Apple Cider Vinegar is NOT and that is what I found to work the best- unfiltered, which you can get from the health food store/ vitamin shop. Braggs is one kind of the ACV. also check out the website below for the apple cider home remedies for pets and humans too!

Dog ear cleanser is not expensive and can be purchased at most pharmacies in their pet dept. You'll need some cotton swabs and kindness, but your dog will feel better after his/her ears are free of waxy diry grit. don't be afraid to check out the dog web sites too. they will give you very specific advice about how to help your particular breed.

Any more info would be good and where abouts are you from? If your dogs ear smells it needs systemic and externally antibiotics from the vet, if it doesn't and you just want an ear cleaner then any vet or pet store will help you out.

You can only use Opi-Otic cleanser! You must get it from a vet. Call your local vet and they will get you a perscription.
