Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen Hebrews 11:1

Faith is not merely a feeling that you get when you pray during hard times. In fact, faith is truly being rooted in whatever it is you believe that is the reason you live for and devote yourself for b/c no matter what, you grab hold of the covenant in the time schedule of God. And I know that may be a little overwhelming, but that is b/c faith is essentially everything. And some people ask, "what if I'm believing in the wrong thing and all along it wasn't true?"

Therefore, to have faith, you must know what your faith is in, wouldn't you?

Many people are in search of happiness and some have even let go of that.
What is the reason that though even more problems continuously arise, that we don't even understand the cause from?
The only true faith in this world, can't come from the minds of men b/c as in Romans 3:23 it says, For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
This means that people are seperated from God since Genesis 3 when
Adam and Eve sinned. When mankind disobeyed God, they became ignorant of God and fell into a state of sin.(Rom 3:10)
So why Can't People Meet God? It is because after we left God, we became spiritually dead, apart from God when we were originally with Him, so without continuously giving sacrafice, we were cursed and therefore, Satan's spirit took control (1 Cor 2:12)
Even our knowledge and wisdom became darkened and even though they recieved God's word, they could not understand it(2 Cor 4:4-5)
But, mankind is a spiritual being, so we have the natural instinct to seek God
You can't meet God by being sincere, or maybe think religion is the answer, or through phiolosophy which brings more emptiness, and why?
People don't know what original sin is.
So though you may make efforts to change, nothing on earth is worthy enough to gain heaven and are merely external. Amen?
More importantly, you cannot meet Go if you have not recieved salvation.
1. salvation before meeting God
2. Without "rebirth" you cannot "see" God
3. Salvation means freedom from Satan, destiny and fate
4. Salvation means coming out of sin, deliverance from hell which is for Satan's children and heaven for those who become God's children
5. Salvation is the grace of God(Eph 2:8-9)
And up to about 2,000 years ago, there was no hero ever sent to earth to defeat Satan (Acts 4:12) but b/c we became so corrupt, God's heart was torn.

Faith is a big thing for a lot people.

Faith is driving down the street, with the sureness that a line on the ground will keep the cars on the other side of the road, on, the other side of the road. FAITH is seeing a tree move on a windy day, and saying it's the wind

you can't see the wind, you can't see God

but their both there.

Of course the Bible is true, but it takes faith to know it's God's word

But faith is dead without deeds.

You can beleive God is real, but does it matter unless you serve Him?

You can have faith that the lines on the road will keep the car opposing you on the other side of the road, but does it matter if you don't drive?

Biblically, it is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things unseen.

Personally, I believe that faith cannot exist without a little doubt. Sure things do not require faith, so to apply faith there has to be at least the slightest notion that "this might not be"

I know my mother exists, I know she loves me.. why? Because I see her all the time, I have substantial evidence she IS my mother( birth records, DNA, medical records etc) and by her words and deeds I know she loves me. So, believing she is my mother and loves me, requires no faith. However with God it is different, I can't see Him every day, though I have seen things that COULD be of Him. I dont feel His love every day but I have felt what COULD be His love and so on. There is evidence but not nearly as strong as the evidence that my mother exists so, this requires Faith. Faith fills in the places where more evidence is needed.

It is the personal invitation to the Heavenly Banquet given to us by God. It is totally a gift and we may receive it or not but it is an interesting gift - much like a plant - because it comes with it's own fertilizer and grows as a seed into something more than just hope. It grows into knowledge. Those who have a fully formed faith have dual citizenship and may go wherever at Command. Some of the great Saints demonstrated the gift of bi location.

Faith is a substance, enthusiasm is an emotion, optimism is an attitude. What you believe becomes faith when the substance of action is taken, the exercising of choice. Faith and fear have the same definition, belief in the evidence of things hoped for and not yet seen, with opposite results. Faith has positive results and brings life while fear has negative results and ends in death.

As a Christian our faith is in the truth claims of God that are given in the bible. Even though many if not most of them are provable in our daily walk with God they do not happen all at once. It is as we mature and are able to walk with understanding from God's perspective that we learn that God's truth are not only true they are as relevant today as when they were given. Our faith is in walking them out not in our own understanding but believing the God that we say we believe in and that His word is true.

Having faith is knowing and understanding that God is your savior and this has to be by faith because that shows your true stand still belief that God is your heavenly father.. Believing in God without him being in physical form is having faith.

I think that your faith is very important because that shows your loyalty towards God. You have to be able to trust in him and know that he will be there for you when you need him. If you don't have faith... things might not go your way. People are always wondering why their life isn't all that glorious. Well it's because of the little or no faith that they have in God.

Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.

Faith is trusting that God has things under control no matter what the circumstance or your surroundings. Sometimes you feel can feel that since you ran out of money that your life is over, but that is when your faith needs to kick in and you pray to God and leave it up to Him to take care of the situation.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for; the evidence of things not seen. To live by faith means seeing the invisible things knowing it shall be. read the book of Hebrews11:1

Faith is simple. Consider the chair you sit in, you have faith that the chair will hold you up, right? Probably didn't think much about it when you plopped down, did you.

The first time you sat down in it you probably did so with the vague idea that you might fall over if the guy at the factory didn't do his job that day and put your chair together wrong. But after many uses, you no longer think about it much, you just sit down.

Faith in God is about the same. The first time you try believing for something you think it's not going to work, but believe me, after 20-something years of plopping down on my faith, I know it'll be there to hold me up. (Unlike my chair, God won't fall over one day lol)

Hebrews 11:1
Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.

Read the rest of that chapter, and see what faith did for the saints of old! The entire chapter is about what God did for them because of, or through, their faith.
