The problem with fleas is that you generally cannot see them, it happens time and time again people come in to the vet surgery and they say my cat does not have fleas but yet when we look we find the traces of what we call flea dirt (Almost like dirt in the fur, especially around the base of the tail)

There are other products on the Market such as revolution and frontline may be try those ones. Some cats react really bad when you put the product on but they soon settle.

The problem is if you are treating 1 cat you should treat the other

Even if you cannot see any fleas, that does not mean that they are not there. You mentioned that your cat's sister uses Advantage flea control. If she has fleas, then no doubt he does, too. Try using some good-quality flea shampoo, or, for best protection, use the Advantage on him, too. Please treat the fleas now, or else you will probably end up like me and my cat. We saw a flea on him last June, and thought it was harmless and it would go away. Wrong! A few months later, he had a whole infestation! Thankfully, we tried Advantage and it killed the little pests on target. Hope this helps!

every once in a while you can use a product called De Flea. It's very gentle and kills fleas on contact should he or she have any. It'll also get rid of lice and ticks. It's a wonderful product. I use it on my kitten and my older cat uses advantage havn't had a problem yet. Just make sure that the other cat gets treatment once a month or it won't be affective

Why in the international might you place benefit on and then tub him with flea shampoo here day? it is overdosing the cat with flea meds - particularly applying off the shelf harsh rubbish like BioSpot! i'm stunned your cat continues to be alive. NO you won't be able to be conscious benefit 2 weeks later. If the fleas have been incredibly undesirable on your place you need to have flea bombed it or positioned 20 Mule team Borax down on the carpets. I particularly doubt you coated each sq. inch of your carpet with flea spray. And maximum probable the belongings you used wasn't even effectual.

If there are no fleas, the treatment is unnecessary. None of my pets have fleas and they are fine.

If he is having a reaction to it then don't use it. Have you tried a powder? Or some of those wipes? I would just watch him and se if he starts scratching. If he does consult your Vet.
