Buddhism. It's atheistic.

That, or any number of parody religions. It's fun to claim allegiance to some silly nonsense if it proves a point about the nonsense that everyone takes seriously.

In my opinion Buddhism. Why?:

1) They are agnostic with respect to any higher power, some schools even to anything supernatural.
2) Blind faith is not seen as something to be desired.
3) The philosophies are much deeper than Western revealed religions, and generally pretty sound.
4) There is no conflict with science (indeed the Dalai Lama has spoken at several conferences on neuroscience, and has claimed that if Buddhist scripture and science contradict then scripture must change).
5) They don't think they are the one true and only way.

None - because religion is nothing more than a soapbox on which to spread propaganda. All of its tenets are based on what occurred centuries ago and none of it is from true historians.

I hate to classify myself, but I guess I am an Agnostic (or secular Humanist). I believe there is wonder and mystery to be had everywhere you look in this world, but I don't believe some 'being' created it. There is an energy all throughout the trees and stars. It can be felt most in true humanity - in kindnesses, empathy, virtue, compassion, and love. It is not "God's" energy. There is no reason to waste time praising something one knows nothing of. Praising the world is promoting peace and actively supporting others who work toward equality and volunteer their time to aid those they may not even know. They're not the ones wearing religious symbols and shouting about "sin". They are the ones who help everyone, regardless of religion, race, creed, color, or any other excuse to judge character that has nothing to do with character whatsoever. Too many people hide in churches, temples and mosques. Too often they come out singing the glory of God but doing very little to spread peace and far too much to spread dissonance and discord.

This is my honest answer. I do not claim to know the "truth" about wonder and creation. And I certainly do not claim to be 'right'. I am, however, sick and tired of being preached to by anyone. I live my life as peacefully as possible and I haven't got the time to worship any character in any book.

What do you want to get out of religion?

Pastafarianism is a lot of fun. Buddhism is strong on ethics, also basic human psychology and how to stay calm and not over-react -- meditation is an excellent practice for everyone. Judaism has wonderful communities. And yes, there are atheist Jews, people who appreciate the teachings and community but don't believe in anything supernatural.

Most religions will only make you more of a non believer.

A non believer would never accept religion because religion is based on a belief system.

Beliefs are not confirmed so until you have a religion that starts presenting realities there is non for the non believers

It depends on what you consider religion. Atheism is not a religion, but it is a belief. So, I guess this is where he should be. But, this is just a word to explain he does not believe. Why should he be here? The word explains his beliefs.

If you don't believe why be part of a religion, I don't Believe in many of them, for me is easy to have friends and family who are opened minded, and believe in the same things or part of them. Is gives very stimulating conversations and healthy debates....

The "best religion" is that which is true.
Truth is that which conforms to reality.
Find what God has said to you in nature and in the Bible.

But a non-believer cannot believe in anything, because as soon as he/she does, they are no longer a non-believer, but rather a believer.

John 20:31
but these have been written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you may have life in His name.

Atheism is not a religion. An Atheist is one who denies the existence of God.
