Try using the cranberry capsules instead. They are much more concentrated than the juice is. You can buy the capsules at most drug stores and Wal-mart usually carries them also. Good Luck!

Actually water is the best thing to prevent urinary tract infections. Most cranberry juice has a lot of sugar which is worse on your kidneys than if you weren't drinking it at all. The last time I has a UTI I was told to avoid the cranberry juice and drink water.

well the cranberry juice has sugar and it has to be organic then if ur gonna go this route. a half qt a day but its the viamin c thats in it adn a certain acid. the cranberry tabs are better and found at cvs pharmacy. also drink water all thu out the day to keep the prganism going out then you wont get one. its when people dont drink water and the urine is to dark yellow ur more apt to get a tract infection as well as front and back intimate relations so keep that clean and safe ..

Its good to have at LEAST two glasses a day, but orange juice, grapefruit juice, or anything else with acid in it, has the same effect. Ive had UTIs and Kidney problems since I was 5..and Orange juice seems to work the best for me!

Drink plenty of fluids (water is best)
Keep yourself clean
No baths, especially with bubbles (showers only)
Urinate before AND after intercourse
Empty your bladder every 2 to 3 hours.
Go to the doctor immediately if you get a UTI, if it spreads to your kidneys you could be in a heap of trouble
