Room redecorating ideas?

Question

I'm redecorating my room and I'm a teenager so I dont have that much money to buy things with. I like the color of my walls and I just got a new comforter and pillows, so I like my rooms colors. Does anybody know sites where you can homemake room decorations?

you can make memo pin boards out of Styrofoam sheets from the craft dept. and cover them with fabric.

Another cute thing you can do is hang beaded curtains against the wall, for a cool back drop for your bed.

Oh, this is what I did. Go to a Half Priced Books store, and they sell RECORDS. get some that match the colors of your room, and you have a retro little piece of artwork. I think most of the ones I got were like, about three dollars each. Or, you could try flea markets and garage/yard sales.
I also took old-looking glass soda bottles, and filled them back up with colored water.

I think you should paint 3 of your walls yellow with a white accent wall covered in posters. I know that's not what u were thinking of. It's just an idea because the fluorescent colors will probably become annoying after a while. Good luck! <3

Go to www.DogPile.com and do a Web search for interior design ideas and the like. (Dog Pile searches all the major search engines at the same time so you don't have to do them individually.)

There are magazines in the Library that you can look at, too. Your local library is a great resource for all kinds of things like this.

Spend the afternoon there and I'll bet you come up with at least a dozen great ideas.
