The only way to improve it to practice, take lessons, etc. If you are having pronounciation problems, you should also sit with an English speaker and practice your speaking voice (not singing.)

If English is your second language and this is the problem, do not worry! There are plenty of people out there who sing in languages other than their native tounge. (ie: Celine Dion)

However, if you give it a few solid months of practice, and you see no improvement, you may have to accept that singing is not meant to be for everyone professionally. Sing to your heart's content in the shower if you enjoy it but try not to expect a career if you have problems.

If that is the case, please accept that you have other strengths. TV is full of scary American Idol auditions by delusional people who think they can sing when the definitely CANNOT. That is just embarassing.

There are C.D.'s to help you improve and you can
practice at home with them..check the web or your
local music store...in the meantime look in some of
your favorite CD's for the lyrics to songs you like
and mimic their pronunciations of words you're
unsure of. Don't be embarrased to ask someone
you trust to help you. A lot of times people with potentially
good voices just stop singing because one person said
they had bad voices...don't be one of them...singing is
a total joy. Watch American Idol, it ought to make you
feel like you're the best singer in the world.

Some people just were not born to sing, like me. If it's just a problem with your pitch or you are off key, you could go to vocal coach who can help you improve your singing. I don't know how you find one though. Yellow pages, I suppose.

practice doing some voice exercises. try to train your musical ear. also practice your diction. eventually, try to add some expression to it. i also suggest to try to find your voice. do you feel more comfortable as a tenor, baritone, or bass? (I myself am a tenor) And if you can't help yourself, there are always voice teachers. but don't say you can't sing. that's no excuse. work on improving. mmkay?
