In the wild Budgies nest in tree cavities.... Accordingly you must provide boxes mimicking that... (Deep boxes with a 1 1/2 inch entry whole at the top.) If you have provided the appropriate nesting box I seriously doubt hens will be able to kick eggs out. Most likely scenario is squabbling hens have entered the nesting box, cracked the egg a bit and the egg has adhered to the under feathers of the laying hen and when she flew out of the box the egg came attached.....and down to the floor. You cannot have too many birds for the cage size. Hen will fight for nesting boxes.....

A parakeet lays an egg every other day, and stops after 4-8 eggs have been laid. Refrain from peeping in the nest and do not disturb the hen. Sometimes, the hen will kick the egg out of the nest at the slightest disturbance. I have seen newly hatched eggs kicked out of the nest, too!

Sometimes parakeets lay eggs even when they don't have a partner to fertilise the egg. It is not very common but it can happen. She could lay more eggs. If she doesn't have a male parakeet in with her the eggs will all be infertile. If you want to breed them you need a nesting box and a pair of birds, male and female. If your pet is tame, she may be bonded to people and will not mate with a male parakeet. Best wishes.

Birds will kick out their own eggs for a number of reasons, they could detect something wrong with the egg, or they could decide that the circumstances in which they live are too stressful to have an egg. It sounds silly, but they really do that. She could have also kicked out the egg if she knew it wasn't fertalized.

So in short, she may have another, she may not. And if she does, she may kick it out again.

It'd be hard to say without a lot more information.
