im only 16 years old, and i know the consequences of having a child, but i still want one really bad. im in a long term-relationship..and i know that im deffinitely not ready for one. but why do i want one so bad?

maybe your mother side of you is jsut strong its not uncommon to want one and besides when you want something and you cant have it it makes you want it even worse so just remember you have all the time for that and that you dont need one right now so good luck

Sometimes girls have an overwhelming urge to have children because there is something missing in their life and they believe a child will fill the hole.
Try to figure out what's really bothering you, or what you're really missing in your life. Are you worried about being alone? Do you want something/someone to take care of?
Sounds like you already know that waiting to have a baby until you are truly ready and financially stable is the best thing...

Well at least you know yourself well and thank God for that.
You have a premature motherly instinct, it's not uncommon. You might want to try baby sitting for a good while. This might curb your wanting a baby of your own or it might be just the thing you need and love not to mention it can earn you some money in the process.
Be patient, you'll get there soon enough and I have little doubt you'll make a fine mother.

You are way too young to start thinking about having kids. I had my son when I was 18 and it was pretty tough. You have to be there constantly watching your baby, you won't be able to hang out, you won't be able to do much. Babies grow, and they cost a lot. You need to stay in school, get yourself a great paying job and then later later on have one. Good Luck
